Update 1


There's not too much to see in the game just yet. For those curious however, I want to give a brief idea of what's to come with further development.

The game will be an incremental first, a shooter second. It will play like a shooter, but you will grow in power with each run. This isn't like a roguelike, where you'll have meta progression that ends at some point and each run is a seperate attempt to "win". The growth of the player, via more HP, stats, weapon/ability growth, will be indefinite. 

I have the very bare core setup, and have been tinkering with shaders the past week to get the rust off that, not that I'm good with shaders. I'm happy with where I have the visuals at now; I'll be getting to work on core gameplay. The intent over the next week or so will be to add a variety of enemies, abilities and weapons for the player, and maybe more mechanics to alter the battlefield. I already have slow fields for projectiles as an example.

The game is extremely early, it shouldn't really be public yet, but the pressure of it being public has been a great pressure on me to stay focused with it. I'll keep it public, keep pushing updates, and hopefully the game blossoms into something enjoyable soon enough.
